of Advance Directives
Lists U.S. Living Will Registry as Resource
The April 8, 2004 edition of the Wall Street Journal contained an article about
advance directives in The Informed Patient column. Author Laura
Landro reviewed the
basic background information about advance directives and listed several
resources. One of the resources listed was the U.S. Living Will Registry,
a free service that electronically stores advance directives and makes them
available to health care providers across the country via secure Internet web
site or automated telephone/facsimile system. Click here to read the
article, Making Life's End a 'Good Death'.
